Trail Overview
FS 5089 is a tight and overgrown two-track that travels north and south through Manistee National Forest. This is one vehicle wide, with much of the trail on the south end being tight and overgrown with small trees and saplings encroaching on the trail. As you head north, the trail opens up slightly until you meet up with West Eden Mtn Rd. Offline maps are recommended, as cell service may be limited in the area. Be aware of local wildlife and follow Leave No Trace principles to preserve the natural environment.

Difficulty
The trail is easy to drive, but it will be a tight squeeze for any full-size rig to maneuver the south end of the trail. The trail terrain is mostly dirt and easily traveled.
