Trail Overview
This is FR 1100 and ATV/SxS route OC. This trail begins at its intersection with Pori Road and navigates to its end point at the intersection of FS1250 and FDR 1100. This trail is a wide, well-maintained forest road which cuts through Houghton County. The trail is mostly gravel; however, there are a few portions where the trail switches to dirt/sand. The scenery around this trail is mature forest with a mix of hardwood and pine trees. The trail is wide enough for two vehicles in most locations, but there are a few sections of the trail that will require vehicles to slow down when passing. Cell service along this trail is intermittent, so riding with downloaded maps is recommended. This trail is accessible year-round, but it can increase in difficulty in the winter months, depending on the amount of snow that has been received in the area.
