Dollar Lake Truck Trail is a state-owned/ locally maintained, Level-2/ Level-3 Secondary Forest Road with a surface composition of dirt, sand, gravel, and native material. This route is currently open and in fair condition. It is a DNR route (ORV use is subject to local government regulations) known as ORV Route A and connects Bergstrom Road of Garnet, Michigan, to Davis Road and Hiawatha Trail of Rexton, Michigan. History
"Little Dollar Lake" within the Garnet Lake area is a historically significant area in the Upper Peninsula that includes the nearby town of Garnet (originally known as Welch), a former sawmill town with a population of 500 in 1897.
