This route offers a quintessential "backwoods" experience, starting with an inconspicuous turnout from the pavement and diving immediately into a dense, vibrant forest. It is a scenic transition trail that balances gravel sections with technical, low-momentum mud navigation. This is more of a trail route over the backcountry route to Crisp Point, which can get heavy with traffic. Perfect start for a day of exploring.
