Turkey Bay OVH 5203 and 5208

Trail Overview

This is one of many side trails branching off the 5 to 4 Road. It's a two-way trail with several washout areas and numerous mud holes, though all had solid bases and were easy to traverse. When traveling north on this trail, you'll encounter a sizable uphill climb that can become very slick during wet conditions. It is passable with a steady throttle and careful control until you reach the top. Most side trails in the area are quite narrow, presenting challenges for extra-wide or long vehicles. The park's terrain consists mainly of mud and loose river rock or pebbles, which can become extremely slippery when wet.

Difficulty

The most difficult section of this trail is the uphill climb, particularly during the wet season. The surface becomes very slick, and a washout running down the middle can pose challenges if not navigated carefully.
