Ginger Ridge

Trail was a bit wet with a large puddle before the descent down to the campground, the rocky make up meant no mud to worry about. The trail down to the campground had some ruts due to water erosion but was not a problem with a little clearance. Had no issues going down or coming out (we had dry conditions and aired down tires). Campsite had level ground, a fire pit and someone had even left chopped wood behind! No bathroom available so be prepared to dig a hole and pack out your TP. Lake access meant we kayaked at sunset, after breakfast and the dog had space to run and swim with zero neighbors. Barge traffic was chugging up the river night and day, but added to the ambiance. Will definitely be back.

This is KY highway 453 called The Trace it is paved two lane an runs north to south and back through LBL. It not a trail please make corrections..

As many other have said this is both a route and partially paved, and will get re-worked eventually for the user base..

This is a 55mph paved road. It is very scenic, but shouldn't be marked as a trail.
