Trail Overview
This trail features a short hill climb that, while somewhat steep, remains free of rock ledges or major technical obstacles. The surface is mostly dirt with light erosion, making it manageable for most 4WD vehicles. However, the real challenge awaits at the top. As you approach the clearing, the trail transitions into a mud hole. The mud here is thick, heavy, and appears to have no solid bottom in places, posing a serious risk of becoming stuck. Drivers should approach with caution, assess depth if possible, and avoid entering without proper recovery gear or support.

Difficulty
While the hill climb is moderate, the deep mud hole at the top increases the challenge. The thick mud can trap vehicles easily, making recovery gear essential. This trail requires caution, traction, and preparation, especially in wet conditions.
History
This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
