Trail Overview

This trail is becoming gradually overgrown, with tall grass starting to cover sections of the path, giving it a lesser-used feel. For the most part, it remains a simple and straightforward route, with flat terrain and minimal obstacles. However, drivers should be aware of a short but fairly steep hill located at one end of the trail. While the climb itself is brief, the sharp break-over angle at the top can pose an issue for longer wheelbase vehicles, increasing the risk of high-centering.

Difficulty

This trail is mostly easy, but the short, steep hill near the end adds a mild challenge. Long wheelbase vehicles may risk high-centering, so a careful approach and line choice are needed. Aside from that, it's simple and overgrown, with no major obstacles.

History

This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
