The road starts off being fairly smooth with a surface of a sand and dirt mix. Fairly early in, it becomes rockier with rutted areas. It appears not to have travelled much recently. There are sections with vegetation growing in the middle of the road between tracks. Sections of the route are lined with pine trees and low-growing bushes.
