Trail Overview
This short out and back trail is rocky with a few larger washouts. A stock SUV should be able to navigate it slowly. Near the beginning is a well-constructed warming hut with an outdoor fire pit, tent platforms, a pit toilet, and supplies inside. Be sure to read all rules if you plan on using the hut. Continuing up the rocky trail through a heavily forested area ending at a significant turnaround with another pit toilet and a few smaller campsites. One established the other just a pullout. Overall this rocky trail provides access to the Moose Creek network of hiking trails and some of the remote lakes in the area. There is no cell service.
