Hoteling Creek C - FS 73680

Trail Overview

Hoteling Creek C is a 1-mile out-and-back trail that breaks off from Hoteling Creek. It continues north along the east side of Gold Hill before ending at an open area with space for several vehicles to camp or have lunch. FS 73680 is heavily overgrown in some spots; vehicles larger than quads will get pinstriping. When scouted in September 2025, several trees needed to be cleared for passage, suggesting this trail sees minimal use. There are a couple of spots where the trail gets tight due to trees growing close to the trail. Hoteling Creek C is open from 6/15-10/01.

73680 Hoteling Creek C is an unmaintained trail with heavy brush encroachment. Despite this, the surface is relatively level without significant ruts or water damage. As with any trail in North Idaho, trail conditions can vary significantly with snowfall, and always bring a chainsaw or other equipment to remove fallen trees.
