Trail Overview

Nice out and back trail through a burned-out forest, so you get amazing views of the mountains and valleys. Pit toilets and a campground near the end. The trail comes down from the top of the mountain and then winds down along a beautiful clear creek. This section of the trail ends at a nice campground with creek access There is no winter maintenance, It would be impassable. Beware of widowmakers (falling trees) when you select your campsite.

Difficulty

Mostly easy trail, one car wide, with frequent pullouts. Some sections are steep and loose with washouts and mudholes. A stock 4x4 SUV with good clearance should have no problem.
