Trail Overview
1976 Hill Creek is a 1.9-mile out-and-back trail that starts at 377 Palouse Divide West, climbing around the west and north side of West Dennis, before ending at the border of PotlachDeltic timberland, where the trail becomes restricted to 50-inch and under OHVs. Hill Creek has recently had logging directly off the trail, followed by regrading. As such, the trail is very soft and slick in the rain, with some large holes in the road surface. Hill Creek is listed as open year-round, but the access point through 377 Palouse Divide West is open from 4/01 to 12/04, effectively closing Hill Creek from 12/01 to 4/01.
