Trail Overview

This is an moderate forest service road starting near Bogus Basin continuing to Rocky Canyon overlooking Boise, Idaho. This road becomes impassable due to the amount of snow in the winter. In the spring you will find various cars and trucks stuck on this route.

Difficulty

This route is not maintained but is not difficult for Jeeps, 4X4, SXS, or motorcycles. You will mostly run into ruts causing the issues of clearance.

History

Some random off grid living and cabins off this forest service road. Very beautiful views.

Access Description

Drive North easy on Rock Canyon Road from Boise Reserve road. Stay straight as you drive through the very nice neighborhood in the highland area near Table Rock. Once you drop into the canyon you will end pavement and start gravel and dirt road.
