Trail Overview
This is a fun, more dynamic trail in the Houston Valley ORV Area. The trail is dug out and well used in sections, sitting a foot below the forest floor. The trail surface has a shallow texture with some loose rocks and shallow ruts, but nothing too rough. There's a tiny stream crossing and a few mud puddles depending on the season. Plantation Ridge features a shelfy traverse across a hillside, peppered with sharper corners that demand a bit more focus. You'll hit some longer climbs and steeper sections with gradual switchbacks. It's smooth overall, but keep an eye out for small branches or downed trees, though most large logs have been cut. This is one of the more engaging trails in the area.
