Trail Overview
Ole Hell Road is an out-and-back trail that runs across the northern edge of the Penholoway WMA, starting along Paradise Park Road before dropping into a shallow ravine and coming to an end. Along the way, the trail winds through areas of smaller oaks and scrub that make a canopy over the trail, giving a tunnel-like effect to the ride. The trail is primarily packed dirt with several grassy sections. There are two gates along the far end of the trail that could be closed by WMA management to limit access. Ole Hell Road is entirely within the Penholoway Swamp WMA, and a valid Georgia Hunting or Fishing license is required to access the trail.
