Trail Overview
East Entrance Trail is the primary entrance to the eastern side of the Silver Lake WMA. As with most Georgia WMAs, a valid hunting or fishing license is required to access the WMA property. The East End Trail is primarily packed dirt with a crushed rock surface. The trail is almost two vehicles wide over most of its length, with plenty of room for two vehicles to pass. After the initial section, the road straightens out, and you can see more than a mile of the trail. Tall pines line both sides of the trail, giving it a canyon-like feel. The trail ends at the triangular intersection of East Entrance, Morning Star, and East Side Loop trails.
