Trail Overview
This is an out-and-back trail that begins as a relatively easy, double-lane gravel road before narrowing to a single-lane gravel and dirt road through scenic sections of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Along the route, you may encounter a few small washouts and occasional water or mud puddles typical of Forest Service roads. There are no major obstacles, and most vehicles should be able to travel the majority of this road without difficulty. The first half of the trail is bordered by residential properties on the east side, and there are a few additional residential properties farther along on both sides of the road. Because of this, it is important to remain on the main trail and avoid turning onto any side roads or private driveways. Near the end of the trail, vehicles must cross a small berm and dip to continue forward. This section is narrow and somewhat overgrown, and downed trees may occasionally be present, so proceed with caution. The trail eventually ends in a dead end with a very limited turnaround area. There is a small area to turn around when you reach the berm and dip. The area is quiet and remote, with minimal traffic and natural surroundings that make for a pleasant drive or exploration. Cell phone service can be sporadic or unavailable, so it is recommended to plan ahead and bring any necessary supplies in case of an emergency. Several good dispersed camping areas can also be found along the trail.

Difficulty
This trail is a double lane to start, then a single-lane route, though there are a few pull-off areas where vehicles can safely pass one another. There are a few very minor washout areas and water/mud holes along the trail, but they are easily navigable by most vehicles. Towards the end is a berm and valley you must navigate over to continue. Past this is very narrow and will possibly leave pinstriping on your vehicle if you decide to navigate this area. This area at the very end is why it is rated a 2.
