Trail Overview
This is a fun, more dynamic trail in the Houston Valley ORV Area. The trail is dug out and well used in sections, sitting a foot below the forest floor. The trail surface has a shallow texture with some loose rocks and shallow ruts, but nothing too rough. There's a tiny stream crossing and a few mud puddles depending on the season. 181-F features a shelfy traverse across a hillside, peppered with sharper corners that demand a bit more focus. You'll hit some longer climbs and steeper sections with gradual switchbacks. It's smooth overall, but keep an eye out for small branches or downed trees, though most large logs have been cut. This is one of the more engaging trails in the area. Trail 181-F is a long and winding path where things start to stretch out and get fun. Beware of some surprise mud puddles and some ruts around the corner. Warning: don't be tempted into going off-trail for a hill climb. I've heard rumors of trail cameras. Fines can be heavy!
