Trail Overview
The Ocala National Forest Road 24 ST 3.2A2 connects the ONF 24ST3.2A at the west end and ONF 40-5.61 which leads to Highway 40 at the east end in the southwest part of the Ocala National Forest. The road conditions are a mixture of packed sand, loose sand, and some very deep (2-3 feet), wide, and long holes (up to 100 feet) that are always flooded. The road is narrow and not wide enough for two vehicles to pass. 4WD and high clearance are highly recommended. All vehicles must be street-legal. Ocala National Forest is in Florida, north of Orlando. It's known for its large areas of sand pine scrub forest. The Juniper Springs, Alexander Springs, and Salt Springs recreation areas have natural pools and canoe runs.
