Trail Overview
This segment is part of the Etoniah Creek State Forest trail network and serves as an easy connector between several nearby forest service roads of similar construction. The surface is mostly hard-packed crush-and-run, with a few sandy areas that add minor variation but do not significantly increase the difficulty in normal conditions. The route follows a firebreak and provides straightforward travel through this portion of the forest, though the trail becomes more difficult farther to the northwest beyond this segment. While not a destination trail on its own, it works well as a building block within the larger network and helps connect surrounding routes into a more complete system.

Difficulty
Rated Level 2 due to a mostly firm crush-and-run surface with occasional sandy sections that can become slightly softer or less predictable than the easier-maintained roads nearby. This segment is straightforward in normal conditions and has no major technical obstacles, though the trail becomes more difficult farther to the northwest beyond this section.
