This short stretch features a blown-out culvert, creating a rough and technical creek crossing. Sandy approaches and a washed-out base make traction tricky, especially after rainfall. The trail is narrow and uneven, requiring a capable rig and confident driving to navigate safely. Rated a 3 for difficulty, it's best tackled with high clearance and four-wheel drive. Despite the challenge, the surrounding pine forest offers a nice backdrop, and the crossing adds a bit of excitement. Pack in, pack out, leave no trace, and tread lightly.
