Trail Overview

Tugs is the first single track in the Hartman Rocks Recreation Area that starts right at the main Day Use/Parking Area. It's very easy and is mostly an access trail to avoid having to ride Kill Hill Road. However, it only connects to more technical trails (the Notch and Jacks), so newer riders will still have to jump on Kill Hill Road to access the less advanced single tracks. Tugs is a really wide and flat trail for a lot of it. It overlooks a lot of the rural farmland and homes north of the Recreation Area. It's very smooth, with no rocks, and no significant obstacles.
