Trail Overview

The trail begins near the end of the Gold Lake Trail on the south side. It consists primarily of dirt and gravel with some short rocky sections along the way. Sections of the trail can become muddy after rain or snow melt. Most of the trail is in forested terrain. Many sections along the trail are narrow and will only allow for one vehicle at a time, but most areas have some space to allow you to pull over and allow oncoming vehicles to pass. There are a couple of old log buildings along the trail to see. The trail ends when it meets back up with the west end of Gold Lake Trail.

I wouldn’t have scraped any part of the truck if it wasn’t for the running boards. If you’re unsure if you’ll make it take the good lake trail to the end, the harder part of this trail is down hill. Over all gorgeous views!!!

Definitely not green for adventure bikes as others have stated. Very narrow, some washed out sections would be difficult for larger vehicles. Solid 7/10 for larger adventure bikes though, once you start the drop in it’s very difficult to get back out so be cautioned. Definitely not the way to end a long adventure bike ride, claimed a lot of carnage on the bike on what was a detour sight seeing green trail.

Watch out mid adventure motorcycle riders. This is definitely not green for us. Some sections are very technical.

First time on the trail and it by myself by accident and just got stuck with continuing lol. Couple areas where high clearance is needed. Stopped at the old hut and went left to continue. “Not sure what the right way way” Definitely a steep uphill part right after that but that's slanted could be bad accident if not done right. Overall good trail
