Trail Overview
This trail ascends from near Leadville, through BLM land, and into the San Isabel National Forest. Along the way, there are plenty of rarely-used dispersed camping sites, as well as gorgeous views of the Mount Massive Wilderness, Twin Lakes, and the entire Sawatch Range. The beginning of this trail lies near several pieces of private property, so be sure to follow the route. Note that this trail is an out-and-back, ending in a stunning aspen grove with several dispersed camping opportunities.
