Located just off the Kendall Mountain Trail, San Juan 33 offers a different perspective of the mountain as an out-and-back trail. Difficulty

Despite having to take most of Kendall Mountain to get this trail this one offers mellow grades. There are a few water crossings with the one at the end being the deepest one. There is a change in elevation of roughly 980 feet throughout the whole trail. Parts of the trail are located within The Alpine Tundra so please remember the tread lightly principles.
