This trail is a great Alternative route parallel to Argentine pass. This trail follows the creek. It is slightly more challenging than the upper road. There are several water crossings that will be deeper early in the year. Mid-July will have spots as deep as 18". This route is very scenic and beautiful. There are several great dispersed camping spots along the way up. The northern portion of the trail is Historic Waldorf Wagon Road before connecting to Paines Ridge Road.
