Trail Overview
The Rim Trail makes a 5.6-mile loop off of Divide Road, with some rockier spots and great views of the Uncompahgre Plateau. When going counterclockwise, it starts at a cattle grate and pinch point, on a wide track that has a bit of flat embedded slab rock that is easy to ride over but is unique for this area. This trail is similar to the many other ATV trails in the area, except it has bigger pieces of loose rock in the trail, and a couple small embedded boulders here and there. The trail also has a little bit of small roots and shallow ruts, but nothing that would make this overly difficult for beginner riders. The whole trail is very gradual, with hardly any steep spots. It goes through beautiful aspen groves and along the rim of the mesa overlooking the valley below. It's a really fun and scenic trail that shouldn't be missed when riding ATVs through this area.

Difficulty
This is an easy ATV trail that is slightly more difficult than the Spring Creek ATV trails because it has a bit more rock, but overall is still easy.
