Trail Overview
This 4-mile ATV trail starts at the Ute Creek ATV trail at an unmarked entrance. It is similar to the Ute Creek trail, with ruts, loose rocks,s, and small hill climbs up and down. It gets up on a ridge line on one of the hilltops, with more enormous embedded boulders here and there. It traverses the side of a hill with some lovely views, climbing up with a steeper descent down the backside of the mountain. This trail has a few steeper downhills and climbs with ruts, rocks, small ledges, and sharper curves through the pinyon pine trees that will be a bit challenging for ATV riders. It ends at an oil well and turns into an access road south to a staging area on Zabel Canyon Road.
