Trail Overview
This trail is an up-and-back fun trail with lots of whoop-dee-dos (large bumps in the road). It starts with a fairly steep rocky climb. There are several vistas of mountains and a beautiful one at the end of the trail. The trail features mountain meadows and views of the valley. There are several water crossings, so please note that in the spring, water can be high. They are not typically deep in the summer, but weather conditions can affect this. The trail can be very rocky in several areas with several large boulders, so make sure your vehicle has the proper clearance before attempting. Some of the whoop-dee-dos are quite steep. The rest of the trail is just a dirt road. There are also several felled trees over the trail, at least at the time this trail was submitted. Please respect Forest Service rules and stick to the trail.
