Trail Overview

The road is not too rocky, only in a few places. It does have a few steep sections at the beginning and can get slippery when wet. At the top section of the road, you travel into some nice aspen groves and the views of Blue Mesa Lake are great. Toward the top, the road turns off to the south and only goes about a half mile to a locked gate. It's got a nice camping spot with a view.
