Trail Overview
One of the very few single-track trails on the Grand Mesa. Drop-Off is the tale of two trails. The trail does not see a ton of use and is typically accessed via the Flowing Park Trailhead. When ridden from the Flowing Park Trailhead (North to South), the trail will be a descent. It starts very easily as a fun, flowy section through nice meadows. Don't let this fool you, about halfway through, you reach the drop-off from which the trail is named. This is a steep and moderately rocky descent with notable exposure. There are two more steep sections with switchbacks featuring rock features 2-3 feet tall. After this, you emerge from the trees to a huge descending meadow of flowers with incredible views. This descent is not as technical but is very steep. The flowers are overgrown and crowd the trail, hiding some good-sized rocks just off the side, so watch your pegs! Near the bottom, there is a 2.5-foot straight vertical ledge on an already steep grade. This is the most challenging feature and does not offer an alternate line.

Difficulty
Steep switchbacks with consecutive larger rocky features. Narrow trail, off camber with exposure. Potential for tip-overs is high due to the sheer steepness with large features. Some of the steeper sections are very overgrown and thus hard to follow.
