Trail Overview
This is a key connector trail between Skull Pass and the Aberdeen Loop. It's one of the only trails in Hartman Rocks that goes near any bit of water, as it starts by going across a wooden bridge, and into a grove of bushes and grass that is more lush than anywhere else in the Recreation Area. It's really scenic, with towering rocky cliffs and bushes that turn yellow in the fall. Although a short trail, it has several moderately challenging rock sections. There's a bunch of embedded rock and boulders in the narrow single track that you have to pick your way over, creating medium-sized ledges and drop-offs. These obstacles are less like ramps and more like big boulders where you can easily get your tire stuck in the holes, so it makes them a bit harder. It pops out into a grassy pasture at the intersection with Aberdeen East. This trail is closed from March 15 - May 15 for sage grouse conservation.

Difficulty
This is an intermediate single track due to several rock obstacles including moderate ledges, and big boulders embedded into the trail that you have to ride over. It's a short connector trail, but be prepared for a couple of obstacles.
