Difficult: No major obstacles but trail is tight, steep and rocky in places. Lots of downed trees and big tree roots. Aggressive stock SUVs can do it, but damage is likely.

Steep, off camber climbs with a massive amount of dust. bring a mask of some sort. some spectacular viewpoints. if you love pinstripes in your paint this is the trail for you! Brush is very tight on trail

Access Description

From Highway 168 in Shaver Lake, take Dinkey Creek Road east 11.8 miles. Turn right on McKinley Grove Road (F.S.R. 40) before Dinkey Creek Inn (supplies and gas available to public). Continue southeast another 17 miles and cross Wishon Reservoir Dam. After dam, go another 2.8 miles and turn right on 11S07. Trail is on left in another 1.6 miles.
