Trail Overview

This full trail actually starts off just off Highway 395 in the locale of Sunny Slopes. It is paved until after it crosses the Long Valley Dam at Lake Crowley. This mapped trail starts just on the dirt trail and travels for over five miles before it terminates at Benton Crossing Road. This relatively graded sandy road is the main backcountry road in the area. It is the gateway to many trails to explore in the area. It offers stunning views of the White Mountains, the Glass Mountains, and the Eastern Sierras.

Difficulty

This trail is mostly graded and sandy. There are a few rocks as you climb up toward Benton Crossing Road. This is a heavily used trail. Use caution.
