Trail Overview
This out-and-back OHV trail is open to all types; 4X4's down to dirt bikes. There is a small parking lot at the beginning of the trail, right off the freeway. A displayed adventure pass is required. The trail itself offers a little bit of everything from rocky sections, to ruts, to puddle (water) crossings, to a handful of short steep grades. Some of the puddles were deeper than others. The trail may become more challenging in wet/rain conditions. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, with chances of spotting wildlife. The trail either continues on to the Long Valley Loop or continues very briefly down the hill to a locked gate, requiring you to return back out the same way. The completion time varies depending on if you do the Long Valley Loop or not.
