Nyo Crater Road

Trail Overview

This trail is the main path to get to the Inyo Crater Trailhead. It is fairly well maintained. It starts just off the Mammoth Scenic Loop. The trail winds its way through a forest. This trail is usually closed in winter, due to snow. But it is also a popular trail in the winter for people to go cross-country skiing.
