As you climb away from the main road, the route serves as a corridor to some fantastic outdoor real estate, passing several cozy dispersed campsites tucked into the trees. But the real prize awaits those who push to the very end: a spectacular high-elevation group camping area perched among the granite rocks at approximately 7,300 feet.
