Trail Overview

This route has creek crossings as well as river crossings! This is a very pretty and scenic area with plenty of areas to camp along the water. The trail has some larger rocks and ruts and sometimes the Clavey is too deep to cross, so plan accordingly. There are lots of trails in the area, so it can easily be a weekend trip. Be prepared for some downed trees as they are common in the area.

Difficulty

This trail has some rocky sections near the river crossing of the Clavey and 4x4 with some higher clearance is recommended. The Clavey can be too deep to cross during late spring into early summer so be careful when when crossing, as it is sometimes deeper than it looks. Be prepared for trees across the trail and some mud in the rainy season!
