Trail Overview

Break OHV Trail is a relentless climb that lives up to its name, delivering a sustained, hard-charging ascent all the way to the upper ridge trails of Rowher Flats. Built for dirt bikes and ATVs, this hard-difficulty route is not about cruising--it's about commitment, control, and endurance from bottom to top. The trail is almost entirely uphill, offering very little relief as it steadily gains elevation. Expect a demanding mix of loose dirt, embedded rocks, and worn ruts that force riders to stay on top of their line choice and throttle control. Traction can be inconsistent, especially on steeper pitches, where maintaining momentum becomes critical. There are few opportunities to reset--Break keeps you working the entire way, testing both your physical stamina and technical ability. As the trail climbs higher, the hillside exposure becomes more pronounced. Sections of the route cut across steep slopes, where the narrow trail and off-camber angles add an extra layer of intensity. These exposed stretches require focus and confidence, especially when navigating rough patches or climbing through looser terrain. The payoff, however, comes as the elevation builds--opening up expansive views of the surrounding Rowher Flats area and the ridgelines ahead. The terrain grows more rugged as you approach the upper sections, demanding one final push before connecting with the ridge trails above. Reaching the top feels earned, offering not just a visual reward but a sense of accomplishment that only a sustained, technical climb can deliver. Break OHV Trail is best suited for experienced riders looking for a true uphill challenge. It's a tough, no-nonsense ascent that tests your limits and rewards determination with both adrenaline and sweeping views from the top.
