Trail Overview

This one vehicle-wide trail starts at BLM 085 with a loose sand surface throughout. You'll encounter some ruts, off-camber sections, washboards, and whoops, creating a varied and challenging ride. There is very little vegetation except for some small bushes scattered throughout the barren landscape. The backdrops of your trail are Superstition Mountain and Fish Creek Mountai,n providing dramatic scenery in multiple directions as you navigate the open terrain.

The loose sand requires four wheel drive, and airing down is essential for maintaining traction. The combination of ruts, off-camber sections, washboards, and whoops creates a technically demanding ride that requires constant attention. The one vehicle width leaves no room for error and demands precise navigation. High clearance is recommended for the ruts and off-camber sections.
