BLM 074

Trail Overview

This sandy trail starts near the airport and runs east to west along a pole line that provides easy navigation reference. The route is lined with creosote bushes throughout and features a lot of whoops, creating a flowing, undulating surface. Despite the whoops, the trail is sandy but fairly smooth overall. You'll enjoy great views of the surrounding mountains as you navigate the open terrain. The first two miles are BLM land, then it becomes private property, so please respect the private property access.

Difficulty

This is an easy trail with the sandy surface being straightforward to navigate. The lot of whoops add some bouncing and excitement, but the trail being fairly smooth means they're not jarring. Airing down is recommended for the sandy conditions and to smooth out the whoops. Respect the private property access.
