Trail Overview

This is an easy fire road in dry weather and a fun mud run in wet weather. The road doubles as the southern entrance to Knoxville OHV and further on, Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument. It then splits into access for Adams Ridge, Cement Creek, and Hunting Creek trails. While not very challenging, it does have some great views of the surrounding mountains.

Difficulty

Mostly easy dirt road with many mud holes along the way. One mud hole was unavoidable and I would recommend a vehicle with decent clearance to get through it.

Mostly dry and rocky. Couple of minor mud areas. Multiple offshoots and exploring. Most areas single vehicle only. Only saw 2 other people while in main trails. 3-4/10. Do need stock 4x4 at least(recommended)

Access Description

The access road, Berryessa Knoxville Road, has many creek crossings and can become impassable after a storm. It's also in such bad shape that dirt trails feel soft by comparison. I purposely stayed aired down on my way out until reaching Lake Berryessa.
