American Hill Mine Spur

Trail Overview

This short spur offers a spacious dispersed camping area with good views of the canyon and the surrounding ridge. It can accommodate two or three trucks, with areas for ground tents. There's a small wash, but it's not deep; it's more of a larger roller. The trail is a tight single-wide path that gets slightly off-camber but is free of big obstacles. It will cause brush scratches. The trail ends at a Y-intersection where there's a dispersed campsite. The trail used to extend further, but it's clearly overgrown with brush in its path.
