Trail Overview

This is an intermediate ATV trail that starts from near the Whisky Falls Campground, and goes west for 1.2 miles. It has several moderate rock ledges over big slabs of rock, that are ramped, but a couple feet high, with embedded roots, ruts, and different sized boulders in the path leading up to the obstacles. It goes over long stretches of slickrock layers, then meanders through the forest on a wide path lined with pine trees. It's a dry and dusty forest, with open views through the trees. It goes on a little ridge line through the trees, curving around the pines until it ends at FS 8S009. This trail accesses two other ATV trails, 23E293 (Moderate), and 23E289 (Easy), making it a good place to start your ride. This trail is closed seasonally from 12/16 - 4/14.
