Trail Overview

Although only 0.6 miles long, this is probably the hardest ATV trail in the Miami OHV Area due to extreme rutting, several embedded rock features, a steep grade, and loose rocks. Deep ruts have been formed over time, filling in with loose rocks, sometimes down the middle of the trail, and sometimes down both sides of the trail. It makes it hard for dirt bikes to stay on the high points without getting sucked into the ruts, but ATVs can more easily straddle the troughs. The big embedded rock faces will be a challenge, however, as they have eroded away and formed big ledges. There are chunked-up rock slabs and loose rocks that you'll have to ride over, plus root ledges. The rock features are quite steep, with several rock layers in a row. You lose 500 feet of elevation in just over half a mile when going northeast to southwest. The parallel trail 21E236 is a much easier option for ATVs.
