Trail Overview

This is a short but moderately challenging single track in the Miami OHV Area that has some deep rutting that makes it more suited to more experienced riders. The trail steeply descends from south to north, dropping 340 feet in elevation gain in less than half a mile. The south end winds through the open forest terrain, weaving around tall trees with big sweeping corners, but it gets more rutted as it heads north. The ruts are very prominent in the center of the trail, making it hard not to ride directly in the trough. At the north end, there is a reinforced section of trail lined with flat rocks, plus a few small root drop-offs, all on a steep grade, that add to the technical nature. This trail will be more difficult in the north-to-south direction when going up the ruts and rocks.
