Trail Overview

This easy ATV trail is a wide and gradual dirt trail between a scenic corridor of pine trees. There is a little bit of loose rock in the trail, but no major technical features as it winds through the trees with gradual curves. The trail is nice and shaded, as it gets hot here in the summer, but will probably be very dusty. It goes along a shelf elevated above a ravine, with little dips and bumps, and sometimes reinforced with cinderblocks to prevent erosion. The trail was clear of any downed logs. After 1.3 miles, it ends on FS 4N09B. This trail is easily accessible from the Hull Creek Campground and makes a great option for newer or younger riders.

Access Description

This trail system is easily accessible from the Hull Creek Campground, a paid forest service campground off of FS Road 3N01, south of Long Barn, California. There are lots of other dispersed campsites throughout the forest roads that can be used for staging, but know that OHVs are not allowed on the paved FS 3N01. The trails are open from April 15 to December 15, and it gets really hot and dusty here in the summer, so the best time to visit is spring and fall.
