Trail Overview

This easy ATV trail spurs off of 17EV45, departing from the rocky and sun exposed hilltop and dropping into a forested corridor of tall Jeffrey pines and moss covered cedars. It's a bit tight in the trees and narrow in sections, but stays very smooth and not very rocky. There's a couple logs down that the trail skirts around, and debris from other downfall. The trail is lined with downfall that has been previously cut. It keeps going through the forested corridor, paralleling the Twomile Creek, until it ends on a forest road, near a dispersed campsite. It drops almost 300 feet in elevation over 0.8 miles.

Access Description

This trail system is easily accessible from the Hull Creek Campground, a paid forest service campground off of FS Road 3N01, south of Long Barn, California. There are lots of other dispersed campsites throughout the forest roads that can be used for staging, but know that OHVs are not allowed on the paved FS 3N01. The trails are open from April 15 to December 15, and it gets really hot and dusty here in the summer, so the best time to visit is spring and fall.
