Trail Overview

This is a wide and easy ATV trail that goes through the southwest corner of the Interface OHV trail system for 1.7 miles. This one is mostly just a wide access corridor that accesses several other trails, and then you can take this to return to the beginning or staging area instead of having to take the road. It's mostly flat and smooth, with just a few shallow ruts, and barely any loose rock. It just meanders on a shelf along the hillsides, with big gradual corners. Just slow your speed and watch for oncoming traffic around any of the blind corners. This is great for newer or younger riders as well.

Access Description

The Interface OHV Trail System is located in the Stanislaus National Forest near the town of Arnold, California. To get here, go north of Highway 4 towards the community of White Pines and White Pines Lake. Go past the White Pines day use area, and continue onto FS 7N08, which will take you directly to the staging area. This recreation area has ample parking, porta potties, and several primitive camp spots with picnic tables. There are more camp spots and staging areas along FS 5N52. The trails here are open from April 15 - December 15, but it gets very dry and dusty here in the summer, so spring and fall are the best times to visit.
